It’s every Canadian kid’s dream to wear the Maple Leaf and play for their country.

For Riverview, New Brunswick’s Dylan MacKinnon that dream has come true.
The former Moncton Flyer and current Halifax Mooseheads defender will play for Canada at the U-18 Hlinka Gretzky Cup which some people in hockey world call the hardest roster to crack outside of the Olympics.

MacKinnon is coming off a incredibly solid rookie campaign with the Mooseheads appearing in 52 games.
The versatile two and half zone defender is a throw back player that takes pride in playing the game and the position the right way. MacKinnon’s journey in the game will continue inspire countless young up and coming players from this region and the Maritimes. His path to the national and now international stage is yet another great example of perseverance and persistence, and that your postal code should never matter when it comes to accomplishing your hockey dreams.

Hockey dreams do come true!
