The Fredericton Red Wings are big on development.
As of today the organization will have had six players suit up for QMJHL teams this season.
The latest player to join that list is none other than 17-year-old winger Kobe Burt.

Burt joins Cole Young, Nathan Casey, Zach Alchorn, Alex Pellerin and Thomas Darcy as Red Wings that have played in the Q the season. Jared Cosman should also be considered within that group of players as well. Cosman played as a 16 a season ago.
Burt will be suiting up for the Saint John Sea Dogs tonight when they face the Moncton Wildcats.
Casey and Darcy made appearances with the Cats over the past few weeks. Casey actually played out his allotment of games as an affiliate player for the season, but will be eligible to join the Cats for the playoffs. Darcy will probably finish the season with the Cats due to his season coming to a close for Rothesay Netherwood school.
Alchorn and Pellerin joined the Sea Dogs and Huskies full time after Christmas.

The Red Wings and the Maritime Hockey League for that matter continue to impact all levels of game providing an ultra competitive brand of hockey while continuing to develop players for the QMJHL, NCAA, USports levels and beyond.
“As a program, we do our best to really help each kid grow as a person and player,” said Red Wings Head Coach Brian Casey.
“Both those aspects have to connect effectively so that each player is given an opportunity,” stressed Casey.
Winning on and off the ice the Fredericton Red Wings continue to be big on development.
