Trevor Georgie is a man at work and I’m sure he’s been trying to knock at the doors of many qualified NHL caliber coaches for quite some time.

It would appear that Georgie might be getting used to the lyrics from the Men at Work song from 1981.
“Go ‘way, don’t come ’round here no more,
Can’t you see that it’s late at night?
I’m very tired, and I’m not feeling right
All I wish is to be alone
Stay away, don’t you invade my home
Best off if you hang outside
Don’t come in, I’ll only run and hide
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Georgie is probably getting pretty tired of the catchy 1981 cult classic from the Men at Work.
With the recent news that Dave Cameron the front runner for the Sea Dogs vacant coaching is returning to coach in Vienna, it would appear that Georgie is continuing to knock on various doors.
A source told me today that “he’s working at it hard.”
Another source told me last week that, “he’s looking for a NHL caliber coach.”
Another source reported “they are looking for a big name.”
Many Sea Dogs faithful believe the search for a qualified Head Coach should have never gone on this long, it shouldn’t have never come to this, but here they are.
Station Nation reported last week that “Jeff Cowan officially remains interim Head Coach of the club at this time.”
Cowan did a fantastic job taking over from Josh Dixon and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Georgie elect to start the season with Cowan behind the bench.

The Sea Dogs are poised to have a legitimate shot at winning back to back President Cups if they manage their assets effectively.
The most important aspect of their championship aspirations still isn’t in place and it would appear that’s not going to get resolved anytime soon. Cowan is more than capable of taking the reigns, but clearly Georgie and the Sea Dogs are looking for a high profile coach.

Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
