Nothing New

Josh and Bradly Nadeau dominating is nothing new.

They have been doing it every step of the away.

The dynamic duo from St-François-de-Madawaska continue to take the hockey world by storm, this time it’s Hockey East and the entire NCAA.

Josh and Bradly have combined for 23 goals, 28 assists for 51 points in 18 games.

“The Nadeau Show” continues to garner tons of attention with several recent shoutouts from the crew of Spittin Chiclets.

You can look at all of their accolades, attention and accomplishments, Josh and Bradly have achieved, but this is nothing new.

You see the two quiet kids from rural New Brunswick have grown accustom to dominating at every level.

The naysayers always had their quips and criticisms, but the Nadeau brother’s just went about their business playing the game they absolutely love proving people wrong at every turn.

All of the success and attention at the NCAA level is amazing and so deserving, but rest assured it won’t change the Nadeau’s are one bit.

Josh and Bradly have always let their play on the ice do the talking.

There’s no entitlement or cockiness in this ultra talented duo’s repertoire. They have always played the game the right way and have always been a class act on and off the ice.

Obviously, over the years we have witnessed each brother come out of their shell so to speak, but they are as humble and soft spoken as ever.

As we all know or those that know them best, the notoriety and attention surrounding Josh and Bradly won’t change one single aspect about them. Throughout their ascension in the game their passion, commitment, character and an incredible sense of quiet confidence has been unwavering.

They just love playing the game and everything that entails.

Countless people have questioned Bradly’s omission from Canada’s World Junior Training Camp. We shall see about next year, but he just continued to push himself to get better every single day. Everyone knew Josh would be a “great” collegiate player, but did they expect this? Probably not. Josh keeps persevering and is no doubt getting tons of pro looks.

Athletes that are humble, fiercely competitive and confident just go about their business. They don’t let the critics or white noise surrounding them impact their performance or trajectory in the game.

You see this is nothing new for the Nadeau’s, they have encountered the negative and positive attention

throughout their epic path in the game.

From their stature, to their decision to play in the BCHL to their path to the Black Bears and the NCAA, Josh and Bradly Nadeau trusted the process no matter how much bull shit surrounded them. They have never let attention or buzz around them impact what they want to accomplish on the ice and that’s exactly why they are who and where they are today.

They are exactly where they should be, they are doing exactly what they set out to do. They are exactly who they are as players and people, and that is nothing new when it comes to the Nadeau Show.

Prove people right, prove people wrong, Josh and Bradly Nadeau have made a career out of doing that. What we have witnessed so far this season is just another chapter in their story.

The best part of that story as yet to be written.

The Nadeau Show continues and there’s nothing new about that!
