Zach Biggar could be a player on the move today as the 2022-2023 QMJHL Trade Period opens.
The solid two-way defensive veteran was going to be a cornerstone piece for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada’s championship aspirations, but those quickly changed with the Patrick Guay and William Trudeau going the pro route.
The Armada’s brain trust will no doubt consider moving Biggar for a massive return of assets to kick start their retooling or rebuild.
Biggar’s versatility and ability to play in any situation in all three zones are no doubt his strongest attributes.
The Summerside, PEI product would be a great addition to any organization with championship aspirations this year and next.
The 19 year old two and half zone defender has had a brilliant career so far in the QMJHL. His addition to a contenders backend could put them over the top.
