In Week 3 was mostly filled with some pretty expected results. One game that raised the most eyebrows in the 12-man division however, was Riverview’s 38-0 thumping of les Olympiens de L’Odyssee on Saturday afternoon in Riverview. Most people expected a much closer contest but it was the Royals that emerged victorious in the end. It will be fun to see how the Moncton High Purple Knights match up against the Riverview Royals after they tied the Olympiens in week 3. The season so far suggests that the Tantramar Titans are in a league of their own but it’s possible that Riverview simply had a very bad day when they met in week 1. Time will tell!
In the 10 man division, the first year Sainte-Anne Castors of Fredericton got their 2nd victory in 3 weeks in only their first year of existence. This team is starting to turn some heads, but they do have a very tough test this weekend when they face the undefeated Oromocto Blues. It should be another exciting week in NB high school football.
Here are this week’s power rankings.
